Who am I? PROVIDER, PROTECTOR, CREATOR & CONNECTOR

I hold many titles, such as Father, Marine, Mentor, Entrepreneur, Friend, Parts Guy, etc.

I am a dynamic force in the Veteran Entrepreneur Community. Hailing from the backwoods of Ohio, this country boy is not just a patriot but a man of unwavering resilience and originality. I am a proud single father and a Union Local High School graduate with a Ph.D. that didn’t exceed 13 years. Just six days after graduation, I entered Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island, SC. My journey from active duty to CEO is a testament to resilience, grit, and unwavering dedication to helping others. With 7 1/2 years of Marine Corps service, I gained the Honor, Courage, Commitment, and adaptability to do what I do today. I’ve faced challenges head-on, learning invaluable lessons in leadership, discipline, and adaptability—cornerstones of my business success. I didn’t get where I am today the easy way. My first three businesses failed. But through a series of choices, I changed my own stars and set the course for the generations after me.

Living with Tourette’s—Adapting, Overcoming, Thriving

What many people may not know is that I have Tourette Syndrome, for something I’ve lived with it, for over 35 years. Growing up as a Gen X kid, Tourette’s wasn’t something people talked about or even understood. Back then, the response was usually “Stop it,” “You can control it,” or “What’s wrong with you?”, because most folks just didn’t know better, didn't understand, thought is was something I was doing, and going to the doctor for something like this wasn’t common unless it was life-threatening. You were expected to tough it out, push through, and keep going.

And that’s exactly what I did. Like everything else in my life, I adapted, improvised, and overcame. I didn’t let it define me in the Marine Corps, and I sure as hell don’t let it hold me back as an entrepreneur, mentor, and leader.

Living with Tourette’s means constantly managing what I can’t control, but I don’t let it dictate my mission. The same discipline, structure, and resilience the military taught me helps me stay focused in business, mentoring, and daily life. Whether I’m leading a company, mentoring veterans, or building something new, I don’t make excuses—I find solutions. Tourette’s is part of me, but it doesn’t define me.

Do you want to know what is like trying to hold a TIC so if doesn't happen? Try to hold your eye's open with all you power for 3 minutes with our plinking, when your eye's start watering still keep them open and not even flinching while forcing your eyes open and the tears are running down your face. I bet you can't do it.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: you don’t get to choose your battles, but you do get to choose how you fight them. And I choose to face every challenge head-on.

MilTreats, LLC. (formerly Crayons Ready-to-Eat LLC)

What started as Crayons Ready-to-Eat LLC with my co-founder, Cassandra Gordon, evolved into MilTreats, Inc. Together, we turned the joke of Marines eating crayons into the world’s first edible, colorable chocolate crayons. More than just a product, Crayons Ready-to-Eat™ is a story—a connection—blending military history with humor and camaraderie.

I’m the CEO and co-founder of MilTreats, LLC., the company behind this viral sensation. But I didn’t stop there. I also created Cup of Shut the Fuck Up coffee, 40MM Grenade Salt & Pepper Shakers, and Military Libs—all products that tell the history of the United States Military while keeping the humor alive. My vision and dedication have transformed military jokes and nostalgia into a beloved brand that resonates with veterans and civilians alike.

Beyond business, I dedicate my time to mentoring and volunteering. Through platforms like Warrior Rising, I offer guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing my expertise in woodworking, product development, food & beverage, and more. Helping others get their start in business is something I take seriously—it’s about paying it forward.

Through every challenge and victory, my mission remains clear: leave a legacy for my kids and future generations, uplift the veteran community, create innovative products with a purpose, and inspire others to turn their dreams into reality.

Connecting People

I have a talent for connecting people, launching businesses, and solving problems through my vast network. Making the right introductions can elevate any idea, and I take pride in helping others find the right path.

Leadership and Entrepreneurship

With leadership experience in both the Marine Corps and the corporate world, I’ve built multiple ventures, including MilTreats, Kamikaze Wood Werks (now closed), Lakeside Trail of Terror, and my latest side project, Mr.3DKeychainz.com, where I create custom-branded logo keychains and unique items. This is just to keep my creative brain working. My entrepreneurial spirit keeps me pushing boundaries and creating products that matter.

Consulting and Impact

My expertise spans industries—from startups to established businesses—and I make a significant impact on every project I take on. Whether launching a business, building a brand, or solving complex challenges, I bring military precision, an entrepreneurial mindset, a straightforward approach, and a touch of sarcasm to everything I do.
